Not as a starting point I was eager to leave, but as a place that taught me something most professionals spend careers trying to learn.

I saw how institutions actually work. Not the org chart version. The real version, where decisions get made, where gaps quietly form between policy and practice, where the difference between a business that holds up under scrutiny and one that doesn't comes down to whether anyone was paying attention to the right things.

Over ten years I moved through client relations, account management, and operations leadership inside regulated financial environments. I built compliance workflows from the ground up. I translated regulatory requirements into processes real teams could follow. I learned what it means to be accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables.

When I founded TruVigil,I wasn't starting a business. I was directing everything I had learned toward the organizations that needed it most. The ones building something real, moving fast, and running without the operational foundation that everything else depends on.

VONE Academy followed because the knowledge gap in governance and cybersecurity isn't just a business problem. It's an access problem, and access has always mattered to me.
